The importance of gender aware services for women. Speakers include:
* Gail Gray – CEO, RISE
* Patience Mugawazi– BME Community Development Worker, Sussex Partnership,
who has been running focus groups with refugee and asylum seeker women on
their experiences of services in Brighton & Hove
* Nicky Lambert – Practice development facilitator - (teacher and nurse with Sussex Partnership
Foundation Trust), based at Millview, and chair of the Women’s Mental Health network
* Jenny Rowlands - Director of Environment, Brighton and Hove City Council

4-5pm Focus Group discussion on services for women and reporting back on focus groups
held with refugee and asylum seeker women on their service experiences in the city
4-6pm Creative Writing Workshop
